During the haze of Knit City, designer Laura Chau of Cosmic Pluto announced the launch of her newest pattern collection, Afternoon Tea Volume 2! It’s a collection of six garments that are at once classic and pretty. Laura’s used one of my favourite techniques — carrying two strands of different colours and knitting them together — in her Terai pullover, using our Merino Silk Lace yarn.
TERAI is the ultimate lightweight pullover. Two strands of soft, shimmery laceweight in different shades are held together to create a warm, light, and lovely fabric. The shapely front cables cinch in the sweater at your waist for a flattering detail on all body types, and gentle A-line side shaping ensures movement and ease around your hips.
TERAI is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan sleeve shaping and a deep v-neck. Bracelet-length sleeves are finished with 1×1 ribbing.
I love designs like this… that let you mix and blend the colours in yarn to make something altogether unique and new.
