Knitting, SweetGeorgia

Call for Submissions: Spring/Summer 2016

It’s that time of year when SweetGeorgia Yarns thinks about the next spring/summer season and we are now looking for amazing knitting patterns to include in the collection. We would love to see your submission!

The SS16 Collection will feature 10 to 12 designs with an eye for hand-dyed colour, texture, and shape. The emphasis on our lace, fingering, and DK & sport-weight yarns and fabrics perfect for those transitional days and warmer months. You’ll see in our mood board that we are excitedย by two different, yet stunning trends for the sunny days ahead:

Wandering Elegance: Simple, casual grade. Wandering lace and delicate, yet wholly unexpected details. Allover eyelets inspired by movement, colour, texture, and depth. A magnified approachs to the stunning details of wind and water.

Deeper Directions: Bold colours meld with neutral tones in directions that inspire. Definition, structure, tapestry, and zest. A hint of floral set amongst striking stripes and blocks. Mixed patterns saturated with colour and texture.

We think youโ€™ll love the images and colours weโ€™ve put together in our mood boards, so go ahead and take a look HERE. Youโ€™ll also find all the information you need regarding our submission guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an email!
