There’s just something about the bright colours zig-zagging across the fabric, like a beautifully harmonized dance of stitches. I don’t know if it is that or just the sheer simplicity of it, but I can’t get enough of this pattern.
Fabulously simple slipped stitches and hints of garter are all that you need to create this stunning mosaic stitch pattern. Whether knit in similar muted tones or in wildly contrasting colours, the results are immediately personal and fun. Knit it up in our soft Superwash Sport for a quick, yet ultra-lightweight piece that wears well year-round. You can purchase Ceylon via our Website or Ravelry.
TABETHA’S TIP FOR KNITTING CEYLON
While it looks complex, this stitch pattern is amazingly simple! All you are doing is slipping stitches of the opposite colour from the previous row. Remember to always slip as if to purl. Instead of seaming the ends, you can use your favourite provisional cast-on and graft the ends together.
