Creative Colour Vignette: Transmutation

{transmutation}

“change into another nature, substance, form, or condition”

Playing with colour is like an experiment, using it in our art and lives to sift and pull, move and explore emotions, nature, impact, and form at deeper levels. Just the tiniest drop of white takes red to a more muted tone and automatically, our perception is changed along with it. Subtle, but the changes, even when gradual, are always surprising. Like the soft shift of season, from summer into fall. The gentle transition from day into night and then back again. The ever-evolving of our thoughts, hopes, desires, and dreams.
