So, you might have guessed that with a toddler underfoot and a book project in the works, I havenโt had a ton of time to knit for myself this year. But one thing I did knit this year was an absolutely fabulous cowl called the Foolproof Cowlย by Louise Zass-Bangham. Itโs a magical cowl pattern that has almost no casting on and no casting off. It was quick and fun to knit and I loved it so much, we made little kits out of the pattern and our yarn last June for the TNNA trade show.
Today on the show, I am talking with the designer of the Foolproof cowl pattern and many others โ Louise Zass-Bangham. Louise is the knitwear designer and founder of Inspiration Knits. She has just launched a brand new book of knitting patterns called Knit Play Colour and there are tons of ideas for using hand-dyed and multicolored yarns in her projects.

Wrapping up the Season
As I mentioned last week, we will be publishing two more episodes of The SweetGeorgia Show before we wrap and call it a season. If you havenโt had a chance to send me your feedback, I would love to hear what you like about the show and where youโd like to see me make changes for the next season. We have a short online survey that you can access here and I look forward to hearing your suggestions.
We have two more episodes to go. Next week weโll talk to Sonia Ruuts the owner of Stash, a yarn shop in Oregon, and the final episode, Iโm thinking of releasing on New Yearโs Eve as a nice way to end the year. That final episode will be with Jacey Boggs, editor of PLY magazine.
Thanks for Listening!
Thank you so much for joining me this episode! If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with your fellow spinning and weaving friends. And if you like what I’m doing here, please leave a rating and review on iTunes for the show. I read each and every email and bit of feedback, whether it’s on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, so I welcome your comments.
