Espresso Shawl – Lace Detail

The Espresso Shawl is a traditionally constructed Shetland Lace Shawl, starting from the center and working out. All the patterns are traditional to Shetland lace, but are not always used in the traditional manner. The pattern is available on Ravelry and Patternfish and includes descriptions of borders and edgings with links to photo tutorials. The pattern also includes blocking tips and instructions for two types of provisional cast-ons.

Lynette has been working on this shawl design, on and off, for the past two years, but she said the greatest challenge was getting good photos for the pattern! I do love these shots Lynette took by the water’s edge.

    Hi Felicia,
Thank-you for the wonderful comments! This shawl was a labour of love, the yarn and the colour are just gorgeous and I wanted to do them justice.
