Petal pink punctuates the palette. Our Fall/Winter colourways are inspired by the ocean vistas along the Sea to Sky highway, fall stormwatching in Tofino, and twilight adventures.
New Colourways for Fall
Our Fall/Winter collection of colourways include all the intermediate colours of our new gradient sets. These subtle tonal hand-dyes are ideal for garment knitting.
Cauldron is our black (at last) and Bewitched is a deep and rich tonal colourway of plums, violets, rosy browns, and purples. Finally, Smitten is a playful experiment with the juxtaposition of watercolour hues and white space.
New Mini-Skein Sets
In celebration of our 10th anniversary, we created these Party of Five Mini-Skein sets and for Fall, we added five more colour options… all gradients!
Our plan with these gradient mini-skein sets was to create chromatic shifts from one colour to another (Sea to Sky) or monochromatic gradients (Hanami, Swell). Only the Wildfire set is created entirely from existing colours from our palette.
All the intermediate colours within these gradient sets are available to order separately (e.g. if you would like to make the yoke of a sweater in a gradient set and the body in one of the colours from the gradient set). These gradient sets will be available only on Tough Love Sock at this time.
New Yarns
CashLuxe Spark is just like our beloved CashLuxe Fine yarn with a sprinkling of sparkle! This yarn is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% sparkling stellina spun up into a 3-ply fingering weight yarn. Each 115g skein has approximately 400 yards which is typically enough to make a pair of women’s medium socks. This yarn is softer than our previous Glitterati Sock and feels more seamless when combined with Tough Love Sock and CashLuxe Fine.
Superwash Sport is our new 3-ply sportweight yarn with a bouncy, higher twist. It’s slightly thicker than fingering weight and makes a beautiful garment yarn. Try this new yarn in the Reiland Shawl or Eleanor Mitts.
Discontinued Yarns and Fibres
In the spirit of streamlining, consolidating, and focusing on bases we love and enjoy working with, we are retiring several of our yarn and fibre bases.

- Spinning Fibres: Merino, Superwash Merino, BFL, Merino + Silk, Merino Bamboo Silk, Bombyx Silk, Tussah Silk
We still have many of these yarns up on our shop website, but once they are gone, they are gone!
Discontinued Colourways
One bizarre limitation of our online shop software is that we can’t offer more than 100 different colour options for any particular item. So, in order to add all our gradient colourways, we had to discontinue a bunch of colours from our main collection. Once we transition to our new website, we may choose to add some of these colours back (I’m personally quite attached to “Lettuce Wrap”).
