These playful mitts are knit in the round, beginning with a cozy garter stitch cuff that is whittled down to a pair of arrows worked on the back of the hand and on the palm. No matter which size you choose, these easy mitts are so quick to knit, you’ll want to make a pair for every guy and gal on your gift list.
FINISHED SIZE
To fit sizes Adult Woman (Adult Man).
7½ (8)” (19 20.5 cm) hand circumference and 7½ (8¾ )” (19 22 cm) long.

DK weight (#3 Light).

NEEDLES
Size U.S. 6 (4 mm): set of 4 or 5 double−pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
GAUGE
20 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter st in the rnd, blocked.

Knit in a luxurious merino−cashmere blend, this flowy cardigan is both elegant and playful. The garter stitch back wraps around the sides and merges into a staggered pattern that flows into stockinette. The result is a lovely, undulating front edge.
FINISHED SIZE
14½ (16¼ , 18¼ , 20, 21¾ , 23½ , 25½ , 27½ )” (37 41.5, 46.5, 51, 55, 59.5, 65, 70 cm) wide across back from center of underarm to center of underarm. Cardigan shown measures 16¼ ” (41.5 cm).

Fingering weight (#1 Super Fine).

Sizes U.S. 4 and 5 (3.5 and 3.75 mm): 32” (80 cm) or longer circular (cir).
Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
GAUGE
26 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter st on larger needle, blocked and measured while hanging.
26 sts and 35 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette st on larger needle, blocked.
