“I particularly like the diagonal wheat stalks as they give a feeling of movement to the design.” – Helen
Rich brown soil, after ploughing, slowly turns green as the crops grow, followed by the pale golden wheat ears standing tall against the wind. This simple design from Helen Gipson, included in our Fall with SweetGeorgia, Vol. 3 collection, highlights the beauty of our new Mohair Silk DK, with wheat motifs circling the hat in relief against an unfettered background.
It’s delectable easy and the perfect palette to introduce yourself to baby cables. The pattern features an Alternate Rib Cable Ccast On so that the edge can feature both knits and purls. It’s a fun technique you’ll learn from the clear instructions included (and yes! We are working on a video tutorial soon).
