Hello, dearest fibre-crafters!

It’s that time.ย You know it. You can feel it. It makes our crafty little fingers twitch with excitement.

That’s right: SOCKTOBER!

We’ve been looking forward to this autumn season, craving the sense of comfort and imagination that it seems to evoke. And with it, the need for small, cosy, perfect fall knitting: socks!

And boy, we hope to cover all the bases this month in celebration of Socktober: a beginner sock knitting course (stay tuned to the SOS site), yarn specials, and a brand new pattern! We’re intent on making sure you have everything you need to knock it out of the sock-park.

First up – we’re super happy to introduce our newest sock knitting pattern: Breezy! Perfect for the beginner sock knitter, Breezy socks are … well … easy, breezy!

A little fun lace flows down the leg, offering just the right amount of patterning without the overwhelm. With your favourite sock yarn, this pattern captures that fall feel. Worked up beautifully in a semi-solid colourway to really let the stitch pattern sing,ย it’s shown here knit using one skein of our Bulletproof Sock in Endless Summer.

Find our new Breezy sock pattern,ย available now, on both Ravelry and our website!

We hope you (and your feet) savor every moment of Socktober. Stay tuned with us for more Socktober fun via our email newsletters, Taking Back Friday vlog or on social media!

Happy Knitting!
