The Knit City weekend is almost here and it’s been such a joy to work with Fiona and Amanda as they produce Vancouver’s own fibre festival. We’ve taken inspiration from their lovely Knit City logo and created a custom colourway for this year’s event. We’ve dyed our Tough Love Sock and Superwash Chunky yarns in this limited-edition colourway. It will also be available in my new favourite spinning fibre, Polwarth+Silk! Here are a few sneak peeks…

We’re in the midst of packing up our entire store to take to Knit City AND at the same time, packing some of our yarns for a local movie set to serve as props for tomorrow night. The plan is to have our yarns and props on set until about 3 am Friday morning, then somehow have them all packed up and ready to take to Knit City for set up at 11 am Friday morning. There’s also a chance I might need to be on the set too, so if I’m bleary-eyed and out of it when you see me, that will be the reason.
