Knit Play Colour by the amazing Louise Zass-Bangham is such a fun book that lovers of colour will delight in! We are particularly thrilled to have our yarns included.
It features ten lovely patterns that highlight the unique color characteristics of different yarns, utilizing soft texture, hints of lace, and gorgeous shape. What makes the book unique, though, is the “play” inspiration and ideas at the end of each pattern, turning ten designs into hundreds of possibilities. With Louise’s gentle guidance, your creativity can expand into the realms of color variations, gauge changes, bead use, and size alterations.
Flight of Colour is my particular favorite and not just because it uses our yarn. Smile! It’s a wonderfully simple shawl utilizing three skeins of our Superwash DK – the result is drool-worthy!
The patterns range from easy to intermediate, making it accessible to every style of knitter. We are pretty sure that you are going to love knitting everything in it!ย You can find more information on the patterns, as well as purchase the book HERE through Ravelry. You can also visit the Inspiration Knits group for up to date KAL, tour, and book information.
We are just one stop on the Knit Play Colour Blog Tour, so tomorrow, head on over to Crafts from the Cwtch to continue along!
