We’re looking forward to Vancouver’s own fibre festival in October… organized by none other than Amanda and Fiona of Knit Social. You can read all about it in a great article by local writer and Mighty Ugly founder, Kim Werker, in the latest issue of Interweave Knits (Holiday Gifts 2012)

Hope to see you all at the Knit City Kickoff Party on Friday, October 12 and then at the festival on the Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be in the marketplace with a booth alongside TONS of fabulous vendors.

The Kick Off Party will be held at the Croatian Cultural Centre, from 7pm-11pm, on Friday October 12. There will be a cash bar available.

Vendors, Instructors and Volunteers attend free of charge. Public tickets are $25 + HST, and include a weekend pass to the Knit City marketplace.

Bring your knitting, crocheting or spinning, and help us kick off Knit City!
