Let’s Talk Longevity and Craft

So this week, I was working away on filming the last few lessons of our upcoming Multishaft Weaving Basics workshop for the School of SweetGeorgia and after a few hours of threading heddles on my loom, I found myself with some pain and soreness in my neck and shoulders. While I’m not a stranger to neck and shoulder issues in general, it made me think… what can I do now to protect and prepare myself for a healthy, lifelong craft practice? In today’s episode, I’m looking at different ways I have made adjustments to my own knitting, dyeing, spinning, and weaving practices so that I can pursue my passions without pain.
