When a designer used our yarn to create something beautiful, we always get excited. But, when a designer uses that beautiful something to do something good? Well, consider us fans for life.

The fabulous Tin Can Knits duo have crafted a gorgeous hat pattern for all sizes – Light and Shadow. Soft, textured cables weave to and fro across the body of the hat, resulting in a delicious coziness that ensures warmth all season long.

It’s the fifth pattern in their new eBook, Sight Is Life. And here’s where the really good stuff comes in: 100% of every purchase is donated to the Sight Is Life Project,ย which sends doctors, medicines, and equipment into the heart of the Congo where thousands suffer from cataracts due to the equatorial sun and poor eye screening opportunities. Your purchase will literally be used to help people see. How amazing is that?
