Make a statement in the simplest of ways with bold colours, squishy garter stitch, and the subtlest hint of lace. Litríkur, a bias rectangular stole, is just the ticket for relaxed knitting, but its decadent feel and versatile shape will leave you breathless with delight all year long.
This stole is worked in one piece on the bias, meaning that it begins in one corner, gradually increasing to the desired width, then working evenly until shawl reaches the desired length on the longest side, before decreasing into the opposite corner. It’s the perfect beginner lace project, while still remaining engaging and fun from cast-on to bind-off.

SG Superwash Lace Petals by L Sapergia OLIVE AND ORCHID please advise substitute thank you.
I wonder if there is going to be a substitute for Olive available in the UK as I would like to try a pattern for a simple, sleeveless, yoked summer top. This is to knit for next summer. At present, autumnal colours are all around us but the new blue-green shades are too cool or too like emerald when a subtle green-brown-gold mix is called for. I only require a small amount (initially 400 grams or so, maybe even less) so perhaps there is something similar I can consider. I find Deramores and LoveKnitting the easiest websites for me in the UK to access and order from, if this helps.
Please keep me posted as I must catch up with present projects first.
With kind regards and success with your website which is very inspiring.

Thanks Carol! A substitute for Deep Olive right now would be our “Wasabi” colour :) Good luck!! Happy knitting!
