Knitting, Meet a Multicraftual Maker

Meet Madeleine Windsor, Knitwear Designer

Budelli knitting pattern by Madelein Windsor

On today’s Taking Back Friday vlog, I’m happy to share another conversation with a multicraftual maker. Today we are going to meet with Madeleine Windsor! Madeleine is a tech editor and knitwear designer that we’ve had the pleasure of working with at SweetGeorgia for many years now. She has designed a number of knitwear designs for our collections and has worked very closely with Tabetha, our Design Director. In the past couple of years, Madeleine has also become one of our SweetGeorgia Brand Ambassadors.

Join us as we have a conversation about Madeleine’s knitwear designs, about working at home with kids over the past year and more about her fibre arts journey. At the end of the video, I also share more thoughts about what we had continued talking about, after we stopped the recording. I feel like the conversation that I had with Madeleine afterward was exactly the thing I needed to talk about at this time.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments about whether any of the messages in the video resonated with you. What you found the most interesting about Madeleine, and also if you have ever thought about starting a blog, vlog or podcast. Or, put your link for your podcast/blog/vlog in the comments and we’ll check them out! I would love to have everyone share and meet with each other, so we can all see what everyone is doing. I encourage you to see if there’s a way you can also participate in the craft community that works with your time, schedule and lifestyle. I encourage you to find your way, your medium, your voice. How you can connect best with people that you want to spend time with and learn from.
