Have you met the phenom that is Caitlin Ffrench? Local Vancouverite, Caitlin is a knitwear designer, natural dyer, and artist that is undeniably gorgeous, with her ready smile, fabulously long eyelashes and hot pink (or purple… or blue…) victory roll. She’s designed and knit for television shows, makes her own natural dye mordants from scratch, and has been on a roll with the new designs and publications. In the new Summer 2013 Knitscene magazine, she even teaches you how to do your own solar dyeing. And most recently, you can find her new Firewood Shawl published in the Summer 2013 issue of Pom Pom Magazine, knit in our SweetGeorgia Superwash Worsted.
Caitlin designed yet another project in our SweetGeorgia Superwash Worsted, the Sign of Affection Hat which is in the Accessories 2013 issue of Knitscene magazine.
With her talent, creativity, and unbridled enthusiasm for textile arts, I can’t wait to see what Caitlin does next.
