I was inspired by a picture of several sprigs of silvery pine needles crossing over each other. It might not look much like the final product, but it got me thinking about crisscrossing stitches!
Nexus, by Emily Wood, uses the beautifully squishy CashLuxe Fine. It is enchanting in its feel and look. Transition through the changing seasons with grace and style while cozied up in this delectably cable-rich shawlette. Texture exudes with thin twists and turns, while the simple, long and luxurious crescent-shaping enchants every style of knitter.
Emily’s tip for knitting Nexus
Most of the cables for this shawlette call for slipping two stitches to a cable needle, working one stitch from the left hand needle, then slipping the left stitch from the cable needle back to the left hand needle and working it first. There is one stitch left on the cable needle at that point, and I found it easiest to slip that one back to the left hand needle as well before working it. You could work it directly from the cable needle, but I found that way to be slower.
