Knitting, SweetGeorgia

Peninsula by MK Nance

I had spent a lot of time the previous day looking at photos of various Portland, Oregon parks and around 2am, the lines inspired me.

Gorgeous lines, twisted stitches, and texture come together beautifully in Peninsula by MK Nance. Knit up in Tough Love Sock, the results are cozily perfect! What’s extra-special about this project is that they are like, what MK calls, a pair of fraternal socks, meaning the second sock is just different enough to prevent the dreaded “second sock syndrome.”

MK’S TIP FOR KNITTING PENINSULA

Try it on as you knit it.  The leg/heel are can be too tight with the inelastic biased stitches. Also, for more confidence in twisted stitched, see Knitting Daily’s Twisted Stitch Knitting with Eunny Jang.
