Project Planning for the New Year!

Make Your Own Nine challenge at the School of SweetGeorgia

Happy New Year!

2021 is here and we’re back in the studio, rejuvenated after a Holiday rest. We hope you enjoyed some quiet moments of rest and relaxation for yourself, and that the new year brings with it an excitement of new โ€“ learning new techniques, trying new projects or patterns, or maybe playing with some new colourwork. It’s great to already see so many posts of 2021 project plans or first cast-ons of the year, but if you’re looking for help with motivation and inspiration, check out the School of SweetGeorgiaย Plan Your Make Nine course!

If you find yourself in a rut with your knitting (or crochet, weaving, spinning, sewing, etc.), making the same things over and over and would like to try branching out into new skills,ย join the Make Nine challenge!

Itโ€™s usually fear or self-doubt that gets in the way, causing creative blocks, burn-out, and boredom. If you want to try something different and more purposeful, Tabetha Hedrick helps with planning out your perfect Make Nine challenge, step-by-step. We hope youโ€™ll take this opportunity not only to create your own clothing and accessories, but push yourself into new creative directions and have an enjoyable year of making!

Visit the School of SweetGeorgia (SOS) site to view the many courses and tutorials available to get you on the path to achieving your fibre arts interests and goals. We hope this year offers fresh light and colour, health and strength โ€“ continuing to find moments to stay connected and kindly support each other in this wonderful maker community.
