Have you met Jill Wright? She’s one of the hardest working crochet and knitwear designers I know and her designs are published in just about any magazine that you can think of. She’s designed this gorgeous and dead-easy crochet stole using our Merino Silk Fine yarn and we’re calling it the Starfish Stole.

This is our very first crochet pattern offering and we’re giving it out for free… so download it here now!

Jill has a very educational and informative website called Woolcrafting where she leads you step-by-step through all the crochet stitches and reading crochet patterns and the like. If you get stuck, this is the place to go!

Detail of the stitch pattern. They look like starfish or sand dollars.

But the Starfish Stole should be very easy to crochet. We provided charts (for visual learners like me) as well as traditional written instructions. The stole is basically made of up long chain stitches that are tacked down with a couple “single crochet” stitches. It makes for quick work!

Happy Friday and happy crocheting!
