As you can probably guess, I really like learning things. I like learning a lot about weaving, learning about the fibre arts, and I like learning from many different people. Seeing videos of how other people set up and dress their loom or wind their warp, I find it super helpful.
So, one of the things I did for myself this past year is I signed up for a class to learn doubleweave from Jennifer Moore. She is the author of Doubleweave, and last year I found out that she also teaches a workshop as an online Zoom class. I wanted to see what it would be like to learn directly from Jennifer and … spoiler alert … it was amazing.
I’m really just enamoured with my doubleweave project on the loom, and I’m looking forward to weaving this off so I can free up the loom to do further doubleweaving projects.
